Ucheibe debut, Oshoala scores, against Plumptre’s Al Ittihad as Al Hilal reach Super Cup Final.

Super Falcons Midfielder made her first appearance for in the Super Cup semi-final against fellow Nigerian international ‘s Al Ittihad Ladies Club on Wednesday.

Ucheibe joined Al Hilal Women from later in August on a free after her contract expired.

The newly signed midfielder was included in Al Hilal’s starting XI against Al Ittihad Ladies Club, making her Saudi debut for the team.

Ucheibe played an important role in helping Al-Hilal maintain control and stay organised throughout the game, eventually qualifying for the final following their 2-1 win.

The match was a showdown as Nigerian forward scored the winning goal to secure Al Hilal’s place in the final.

Oshoala is back in action, and her goal marked a strong return to club as the Super Falcons forward once again showed her importance in front of goal.

Super Falcons Defender Ashleigh Plumptre marked her return to competitive action in style, scoring her first goal for Al-Ittihad Ladies Club in their 2-1 defeat to Al-Hilal in the semi-final of the Super Cup.

After being away from competitive action, including missing out on the 2026 Women’s due to injury recovery, Plumptre returns to the starting 11 of her team to open the scoring in the game.

Despite Al-Ittihad’s efforts to find another equaliser, Al-Hilal held on to secure a 2-1 victory and book their place in the Super Cup final, while it was the end of the road for Asheligh Plumptre.

Oshoala continues her impressive form and helps Al-Hilal, alongside Christy Ucheibe, to compete for the Super Cup title.
