NNL: Crown FC unveils jersey ahead of new season
Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, has unveiled their home and away kits, for the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Ajilete Warriors as they are known to be called by teaming fans of the club, will continue their quest to get a promotion to the NPFL from the second tier.
The unveiling, which was done by the team’s general manager, Mr. Olamide Ilupeju, was held at the club’s camp for the supporters of the team.
The team’s captain, Ugochukwu A, and also the goalkeeper, Mammud Belema, were part of the players that unveiled the new kits ahead of their league game opener.
In the general manager’s response to the fans, “I’m sure the illustrious sons and daughters of Ogbomoso and Oyo State everywhere will appreciate this year’s club kits. As it is done before now, Crown FC is used as a traditional form of head adornment, or hat, worn by Monarchs as a symbol of their power and dignity,” he said.
Crown FC will kickstart their season with a home game against FC One Rocket from Uyo on Saturday, 18 November 2023.
