Acquire Football Academy gears for 10 Management/Supreme Kings Scouting Tournament
The management of Acquire Football Academy, under the direction of Mr. Nwaobi Izuchukwu Daniel, has urged the players to perform at their best as the team prepares to participate in the upcoming 10 Management/Supreme Kings Scouting Tournament in Port Harcourt at the end of this month.
The programme commences on 31 March and runs until 2 April 2024, with matches involving the 16 participating teams scheduled to take place at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.
“Opportunities like this are very rare and it is every player’s dream to make a move that would enhance their career development, even beyond the shores of the country,” stated Mr. Daniel. He further encouraged the players not only to play for themselves or the badge but also to put in the necessary work to make their families, who hold them in high esteem, proud.
Acquire Football Club and Academy is a team that embraces challenges and competitions beyond their comfort zones, earning them considerable relevance and respect in the grassroots field. They have previously faced professional sides such as Rivers United, Abia Warriors, Heartland FC, Enyimba FC, Dakkada FC, Abia Comets, Cynosure FC, among others.
These encounters have not only boosted the players’ confidence but also provided them with a glimpse into the life of a professional, serving as motivation for the players to work harder and dream big.
The management also expressed gratitude for the significant support received from the parents and guardians of the students since the inception of the rapidly growing Acquire Football Academy in 2023.
The players have enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere since their arrival at the facilities, and the coaching has been highly commendable.
Furthermore, some minors have had the opportunity to enroll in their preferred schools and still participate in football activities after school, enabling them to achieve academic excellence while pursuing their passion for football, under the close monitoring and supervision of the management.
